Funeral Mass of Theresa M. Cain

Theresa M. Cain, age 94, of Trappe, PA passed away on September 24, 2021.

She was born in Phoenixville, PA on August 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Kostura) Plecenik.

Theresa has been living in Trappe since 2019, formerly of Audubon, Norristown and Phoenixville. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family. Theresa entered training at Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing in Norristown, PA in 1945 to be a member of the United States Cadet Nurse Corps.

She was the wife of the late John C. Cain.

She is survived by five children, Colleen M. (& Charles W.) Raker, Jr. of Houston, TX, Kathleen M. (& Weir R.) Schankel of Trappe, PA, John P. “Jack” (& JoAnn) Cain of Rogersville, TN, Eileen M. Cain of Jeffersonville, PA, and Patrick D. (& Barbara) Cain of Phoenixville, PA;
grandchildren, Christina, Katharine, Michael, Sandra, Timothy, John W., Melissa, Donnie, David, Denise, Diane, Michelle, Christopher and Candice;
great grandchildren, Grace, Juliette, Sydney, Ellie, Adam Jr., Rhiannon, Tim Jr., Matthew, Melissa, Hunter, Alayna, Autumn, Ava, Chloe, Kayla and Mike, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her grandson, Mark Cain,
and seven siblings, Anna Hudak, John Plecenik, Mary Lynch, Michael M. Plecenik, Vincent P. Plecenik, Margaret Changery, and Elizabeth Cain.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 11:00AM from St. Eleanor’s RC Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 10:00AM to 10:50AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 2400 Dekalb Pike, East Norriton, PA.
