Funeral Mass of Joseph J. Kalkbrenner Jr.
Joseph J. Kalkbrenner, Jr., ESQ., age 63, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband to Laurie Kalkbrenner (nee O’Hara). Loving father to Joseph J. Kalkbrenner III; Matthew A. Kalkbrenner (Kaitlyn) soon to be grandfather to baby girl Kalkbrenner, Stephen M. Kalkbrenner (Jocelyn) and Ryan C. Kalkbrenner. Beloved son of the late Joseph Kalkbrenner, Sr., and Donna J. Kalkbrenner (nee Hawthorne). Dear brother to Mary Elizabeth Klein (Robert), James F. Kalkbrenner (Donna), Donna J. Kalkbrenner, and John T. Kalkbrenner (Michelle), and 10 nieces and nephews. Joe graduated from LaSalle University where he was a member of Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity, followed by the Delaware School of Law of Widener University. He worked in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office, where he was Chief of Trials, prior to transitioning into private practice with Hughes, Kalkbrenner, and Ozorowski. Joe proudly served on the Montgomery Township zoning board throughout his career. He was a hardworking and dedicated attorney, widely admired and respected by both fellow associates and clients alike. However, his most important legacy is the amazing family he created with the love of his life of over 39 years. His children were his most prized accomplishment and was a most dedicated father and husband. He loved to coach his children’s baseball and basketball teams in order to spend more time with them and watch them grow; along with watching many other various sporting events his sons were involved in. Joe shared his own boy scout experiences with his sons going on camping trips and other scouting adventures. He also enjoyed playing every Saturday with his long-time basketball buddies, in addition to reading and doing yard work, his other loved hobbies. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 9:00am until 10:45 am at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454, immediately followed by his funeral mass at 11:00am. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont PA.
